Look on the bright side

I have learned that even the most confident person has asked
" is this color too bright for me?on me?
In order to not  run the risk of being the proverbial distraction, most opt out before even trying to make it work. They don't take the phrase " think outside the box" literally.

I am a child of the 80's. Back then wearing "neon" was the fashion trend to follow. There were neon glasses, clothing , shoes, backpacks and even shoe laces.
Well, its back!!  Current neon and bright fashion trends of solids and fun prints are a glow. With still currant color blocking standing strong it allows us to have fun and play with colors without feeling that it's " too much."

The most important thing to remember is to be true to your style. If you don't like using color block, keep it simple. Pair dark colors with one bright/neon piece such as a scarf, peacoat, skirt or perhaps a piece of jewlery or even a handbag.

If your the daring one,  by all means go all in but keep it fashionable. In color blocking no one color dominates the other, it's a blend.  Solids and prints together can be amazing, if its done correctly.

I have put together some great ideas to help you find what's right for you.

Have fun, don't over analyze and remember our quote
"Style is synonymous with character.  Blue Notes is the symphony of confidence you exude. "  it all begins within.
